HOME OF THE ANTS!
We are a medium sized modern and comfortable social Club formed in 1952 to promote lawn bowls. As of the Board meeting ending October 2009 we currently have 2472 members of which 306 play competitive lawn bowls.
We have achieved considerable success on the Bowling Greens. We won the Premier League competition in 2001 and 2010 the State No 1 Pennant in 1997 and 2009.
We have several International Bowlers playing with us in both men and women.
We have a very attractive Incentment Payment Scheme for all our players including Juniors.
Our Lounge areas were refurbished last year and we have live entertainment on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
Club Cabra also host a number of in-house sports. These being Darts, In-Door Bowls, Euchre, Poker and Bingo.
We sponsor a number of Junior Sporting teams along with Lawn Bowls - Netball, Cricket, Rugby League, Soccer and AFL.
During school hours we offer local schools a chance to use our venue and enjoy an hour under supervision playing Lawn Bowls as a school sport.
